Hello! Welcome! Salutations! Greetings! Hi!
The Township of Ignace on the shore of Agimak Lake, located in the heart of Northwestern Ontario, offers a strong service sector, including an industrial business park, a Municipal Airport, and the prospect of Resolute Forest Products re-opening the Ignace sawmill with a commitment of $32 million in the next two years construct a planer and kilns.
Our location on the Trans- Canada Highway and the Canadian Pacific Railway main line plays a key role in providing access to the region and the world beyond. Ignace is a stepping stone to the northern community of Pickle Lake on Highway 599, the winter roads, and the booming mining activity focused on the "Ring of Fire".
