Canada Day Celebrations. Canada Day kicks off with a parade, followed by various events throughout the day, activities at Agimak beach, performers, and fireworks to end the day's extravaganza.
White Otter Days. Each year, during the month of July, Ignace hosts its White Otter Days celebrations. The White Otter Days Committee and the Township Recreation Department, in partnership with numerous community groups, put on a variety of activities. These include the White Otter Days Men's Hockey Tournament, the John Ricci Memorial Music Festival, Show & Shine Car Show, and more! Annual John Ricci Memorial Music Festival: The last weekend in July is always an excellent way to conclude White Otter Days. Families and children will enjoy performers, face painting, clowns, talent shows, themed-activities, and much more! During that Saturday night the Recreation Complex parking lot is transformed to an outdoor stage where big-name performers come to entertain hundreds of spectators.

| Summer Activities. Every year a number of events such as bike rodeos, children's camps, and activities are held during the summer months to encourage active play and lifestyle. Summer Swimming Lessons. Throughout July and early August, qualified swimming instructors teach beginner to adult level lessons at West Beach. The relatively shallow lake and enclosed dock area make the swimming lessons a safe and fun place to learn. |

Halloween. In partnership with community groups, Halloween Family fun day is a special time for families to participate in games, festive activities, and enjoy tricks and treats!

Winter Carnival. Each year during the middle of February, Ignace hosts winter festivities such as the Snowmobile Club's Poker Derby and dance, Health Fair, skating, and various winter events.

Karate is offered to all age levels every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at the Curling Hall with a certified instructor.
Gymnastics is offered every Monday night from 6-7 p.m. in the Curling Hall.
Archery is offered Monday for ages 11 & up from 7-8 and Wednesday evenings for Ages 5-10 from 6-7 p.m.

Teens In Motion is a program for youth aged 12-19. Every Thursday special events are organized at the Ignace Recreation Complex from 7-9 p.m. This is a free drop in event. Youth are able to hang out, listen to music, play basketball, ping pong, volleyball, badminton, board games etc.
